Imagine a German Christmas Market tucked in a square among shops that display treats from storybook windows. The air is bracing but the feeling is warm, and the sweet glühwein makes you glow. Inspired by a visit to see friends in Tubingen, this is my version of the mulled spiced wine that washes down cookies and stollen in the old country.
